Meet Dr. Benjamin Yang

Prosthodontist is one of the nine dental specialties approved and recognized by the American Dental Association. A prosthodontist is a specialist with skillful background in diagnosis, comprehensive treatment planning, rehabilitation, and maintenance of oral function, esthetics, and health of clinical missing and damaged teeth.

Dr. Benjamin Yang is one of the very few board certified prosthodontists in Washington state. The board designation is awarded by successfully completing a series of rigorous exams administered by the American Board of Prosthodontics demonstrating thorough knowledge and skills in full mouth rehabilitation. He has been practicing general dentistry since 2005, and earned his master of science degree and specialty certificate in Prosthodontics from University of Michigan in 2010. He then became diplomate of American Board of Prosthodontics and fellow of American College of Prosthodontics after he graduated.

Dr. Yang is passionate about making a personal connection with each and every one of his patients and getting to know them as a person. For Dr. Yang, it is very rewarding to be trusted and to be able to give our patients confidence with a winning smile.

Through his specialty training in the field of prosthodontics, Dr. Yang knows what he can achieve cosmetically and functionally. However, it is the gentle touch and meticulous tell-show-do style that he believes distinguishes him from his colleagues.

Because the field of dentistry is always changing, Dr. Yang takes continuing education seriously and feels it is necessary to keep abreast of the most recent developments and the most superior dental products in order to provide the best possible treatment for our patients.

Dr. Yang is an active member in many leading dental organizations and associations, including the American Dental Association, American Board of Prosthodontics, American College of Prosthodontics, Washington State Dental Association, and the International College of Oral Implantology. Dr. Yang also serves as a clinical affiliate faculty of the University of Washington’s Department of Prosthodontics.

Dr. Yang is also an amateur photographer. He and his family enjoy music, traveling, and capturing great moments with photography. It is the patient's acknowledgement and encouragement that drives him forward to challenge himself, not only in dentistry, but also in his personal life.
